God bless (£7.6m) starred for Arsenal on Sunday with a brilliant hat-trick against Tottenham Hotspur.
Here are our Scout Notes from the north London derby.
EZE HAT-TRICK
Eberechi Eze was the hero for Arsenal on Sunday, scoring a hat-trick as Arsenal beat Tottenham 4-1.
The 27-year-old’s finishes on each of his three goals were incredible, with his 20 points not being the highest score ever in Fantasy.
Constant threat in/around the box, there may be further counter attacks too.
Eze cleverly played it Declan Rice (£6.9 million) from the start, but Rice immediately volleyed home William Vicar (£5.0 million).
A fourth goal was then denied after a great save by the Spurs goalkeeper.
“I probably should have scored four goals. I always try to score goals, always try to take advantage of my chances. It’s important to be relentless.” – King’s Grace
Martin Odegaard (£7.8m) is close to returning to action; however, Eze will certainly put pressure on the Norwegian after his recent performances as a number 10.
“When I spoke with Thomas Tuchel [about Eze] I said ‘how good is he?’ He said to me ‘one of the best I’ve ever seen’. I consider him one of the best in terms of talent. If we add now his work rate, his willingness to play for this team and the excitement I feel when he is in the building, we have a special player.” – Mikel Arteta at Eberechi Eze
Leandro Trossard (£6.9m), meanwhile, continued his fine form with a goal and an assist. He has now made five offensive returns in as many games.
Rice and Mikel Merino (£5.9m) also contributed an assist, with the cheaper Arsenal midfielder shadowing him Bukayo Saka (£10.1 million).
The winger was on fire in north London, with two free-kicks well saved by Vicario. He also collected defensive contribution points (DefCon) for the second consecutive Gameweek, but with only three attacking returns in the 2025/26 season, he is currently struggling to justify his big outlay.

HOW WOULD ARSENAL PROCEED WITHOUT GABRIEL
Gabriel Magalhaes‘ (£6.5m) injury during the international break was an undoubted blow for Arsenal, but despite failing to keep a clean sheet on Sunday, they coped very well without the influential Brazilian.
With Jurrien Wood (£6.3m) – who provided an assist and took three shots – and Riccardo Calafiori (£5.8m) fit to continue at full-back, says Mikel Arteta Piero Hincapie (£5.4 million) in the center next door William Lintasa (£6.0 million).
And on his first Premier League start, left-footed Hincapie did his job superbly, as Arsenal limited Tottenham to just three shots and 0.07 expected goals (xG).
Elsewhere, there was more positive news Contact Maduyke (£6.8 million) and Gabriel Martinelli (£6.8m) returns to the bench after injury.
“We’ve got Noni back on the pitch, and that’s a good thing, but we’re still missing a lot of important players, and we’re going to need them all. The good news is we’re missing big players Gabi, which is a big blow, and Piero [Hincapie] came in, and I thought he was fantastic from the start.” – Mikel Arteta
TERRIBLE BAN/ROMERO TOTTENHAM
This was a day to forget for Tottenham.
Thomas Frank switched to a five-at-the-back formation for this match, a system he employed against Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Super Cup, but the move failed to produce results, as Spurs were poor in possession and lacked creativity.
Of course, RicharlisonThat superb strike (£6.4m) was just one of three attempts on goal, all of which came from outside the box.
Unsurprisingly, the 5-4-1 experiment didn’t last long Kevin Danso (£4.3m) makes way for Xavi Simons (£6.6m) at the break.
After they scored, Spurs looked a little better, but overall, it was a very disappointing performance.
“We tried to do something different which was very successful against PSG. Today it wasn’t and I’m always responsible for my decisions and then when it doesn’t go our way, it’s up to me. We changed it in the first half but I’m 1000% sure that whatever formation you play, if you don’t win duels enough or be aggressive enough, then it doesn’t matter what formation you play.” – Thomas Frank
Regarding Tottenham’s lack of creativity, Frank said:
“That has been a theme we are working to improve. It didn’t look good today or against Chelsea. We have to keep working on it.” – Thomas Frank
Joao Palhinha (£5.5m), meanwhile, provided the assist for Richarlison’s goal, managing to capitalize on a loose touch. After delivering his fourth strikeout of the season, he also claimed DefCon for the fifth straight game.
At another place, Christian Romero (£5.0m) will miss Gameweek 13 through suspension, after he picked up his fifth yellow card of the season against Arsenal.
He will now miss Saturday’s match against Fulham.
