Who has the worst starting game?

The Premier League fixtures for the 2026/27 season are out!

We’ve looked at the teams with the best early games on paper, so now we turn our attention to the teams with less favorable schedules.

Our main focus is the next six matchweeks, but we will consider the short-term and long-term outlook if necessary.

Our Schedule is updated quickly once the schedule is released, with the first six Gameweeks ranked by difficulty below.

If you haven’t seen it yet, we’re making a version of this feature free for all users this season!

We’ve also upgraded the Member version – and this gives customers the opportunity to enter their own equipment difficulty ratings, if they don’t agree with our ratings.

The ticker for Chief Scouts also allows them to ‘drag and drop’ teams, expand future outlooks, and more.

Bournemouth

Bournemouth are a team to avoid at the start of the season, as they have finished bottom of the Fixture in the first six Matchweeks.

The post-Andoni Iraola era began with a match away to Manchester City, followed by meetings with Everton, Newcastle United, Brentford, Liverpool and Chelsea.

Remember, The Cherries also have to face a tougher schedule in the 2026/27 season, after qualifying for Europe. Their first taste of European football will begin between Matchweeks 4 and 5.

Given the prospect of early fixtures, plus the need to balance domestic and European commitments, Marco Rose’s men are hard to avoid from the start.

However, Bournemouth got a break from Gameweek 7.

SUNDERLAND

The Sunderland players could be among the Scout Picks for Gameweek 1, when they face newly promoted Ipswich Town.

Even the Gameweek 2 match (at home to Fulham) was quite good, but a tougher test awaits.

Regis Le Bris’ men, who like Bournemouth will be playing in Europe next season, will face Arsenal and Manchester City either side in their first European encounter.

Nearby clashes against Brentford and Brighton and Hove Albion also did not go smoothly.

Sunderland confounded all expectations in the 2025/26 season, with only three teams conceding fewer goals.

However, their performance significantly outperformed their original numbers, so it will be interesting to see if there is any setback next season, especially with European competition to contend with.

COVENTRY CITY

Welcome back to the Premier League, Coventry City!

The English second division champions face a daunting start with a trip to Arsenal, which is the curtain raiser for Gameweek 1.

Another away game follows in Gameweek 3, this time against Man City.

Given their poor start, Coventry unsurprisingly sat bottom of the Fixture Ticker in that early period.

This added pressure to their Gameweek 2 clash, at home to fellow newbies Hull City.

Last season, only one promoted team was relegated, as Burnley finished 19th.

LEEDS UNITED

They may not meet a UEFA Champions League side until Matchday 6, but Leeds United’s early fixtures still feel tough.

Daniel Farke did an excellent job in keeping the Whites in the Premier League last season, even after a difficult start.

But this time it’s complicated too.

In fact, if we extend the time to include the Gameweek 7 meeting with Manchester United, Leeds drop to 19th place.

Fantasy investments in Dominic Calvert-Lewin and co may have to wait.

Despite this, three of their first five games were at Elland Road – Leeds in particular took 32 of their 47 points at home in 2025/26!

ALSO CONSIDER IT

Xabi Alonso has not had an easy start at Chelsea, although he admits it hasn’t been bad.

They visit Arsenal in Gameweek 3, with a west London derby and a home game with Brighton and Hove Albion before them.

Apart from Coventry, fellow new players Hull City and Ipswich Town also experienced difficulties at the start of the match.

Hull will face Manchester United, Aston Villa, Chelsea and Newcastle United in the first five Matchweeks, while Ipswich will face Manchester United and Liverpool in the first match.

Finally, Fulham will start the season with new faces in the dugout, but they got off to a tough start when they hosted Chelsea. It’s part of a tough opening, with games against Liverpool and Manchester United before the first international break.

PakarPBN

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.

In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
