Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia- The development of cloud services in Indonesia is increasingly rapid. Based on IDC data, growth will reach US$933 million or IDR 14.6 trillion in 2023.
Country Manager for Enterprise and Public Sector, Google Cloud Indonesia, Anang Efendy said that the growth of the cloud industry in Indonesia was also felt by Google Cloud in line with the rapid development of digital information in the country.
Anang noted that there are 3 stages of growth in the cloud industry, starting from the virtualization era which occurred when startup businesses grew. Then during the Covid-19 pandemic which encouraged traditional companies to utilize cloud solutions and services to expand the market and currently the development factor is Generative AI or Gen AI.
