Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Makassar City’s economic growth continues to accelerate after the Covid-19 pandemic. During 2022, the city’s economy will grow 5.40% or an increase from the previous year of 4.47%. The inflation rate was also under control during last July. So what drives this economic growth?
According to the Mayor of Makassar Mohammad Ramdhan Pomant, Makassar has 4 economic cores which support everything from trading, services, property to construction. Currently, Ramdhan said that one thing that is being promoted is the tourism sector through the Lorong Wisata program.
